Apple Crisp

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 6 large peeled, cored and diced apples (or 10 small ones)

Grease an 8x8 baking dish.  Arrange apples in dish.  Mix all other ingredients and sprinkle on top of apples.  Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until bubbly.
