"My boyfriend and I immediately felt at home at the Cedars from the time the owners opened the door. The house was beautifully decorated, inside and out, and every room smelled delicious. The owners offered to help with dinner reservations and suggested several places we could visit within walking distance. (It was only a short walk to Merchant's Square.)
We stayed in the Christopher Wren room on the top floor. A huge, comfortable bed topped with tons of gorgeous pillows was the centerpiece of the room. There were two closets with shelves and hangers--plenty of space to put away all our clothes. Antique-looking furniture and colonial pictures and decorations adorned the room. A window seat overlooking the gazebo in the backyard was a nice touch as well. We had our own private bathroom with full-sized tub/shower, stand-alone sink and toilet, as well as a makeup table by the window overlooking the front yard.
In the morning, we joined other guests for a hot breakfast. Each couple had their own table, which was nice, since many B&Bs ask you to sit with other guests at a large table. The owners took our picture at the table (which was later printed out for us and also printed on the cover of a Cedars brochure for us to take home as a souvenir). Since it was my birthday weekend, the owners led the guests in a (albeit sleepy) rendition of "Happy Birthday" as I blew out the candle in a breakfast muffin.
All in all, it was a wonderful weekend at a fantastic B&B. I will definitely be recommending it to my friends and family and will certainly be back again myself."

"What an incredible stay we had at the Cedars of Williamsburg. This stay for us was a last minute trip and we were very fortunate to find a vacancy at the Cedars. I researched extensively all the B&B's in the area and without a doubt this facility intrigued me. The website was very informative and the pictures we looked at were exactly as they are in reality.
What impressed me the most during our stay was not just the B&B itself and the beautiful decor and rooms, (we loved the George Washington room) but the attention that has been given to every detail, from the fresh cut flowers at the door and in the living room, to the candles at the table for breakfast and the beautiful gardens behind the home and the gazebo which afforded us some private time and quiet reading while we enjoyed the variety of birds.
The breakfasts were absolutely heavenly, we loved visiting each morning with the host and hostess. They are delightful and charming and made us feel right at home.
If we came back to the area, we would not even hesitate to make a booking at the Cedars. We always travel and stay at B&B's where possible and this was high on our list of places that we have been to this past year and a half.

We saw and met many wonderful people, but Cedars of Williamsburg was a highlight of our trip. Warm, clean, cozy, friendly, delicious food! Generous would also be an adjective I would use to describe Bob and Grace. They even gave us photos as a memento!!! "My wife and I have stayed at several B & Bs thoughout VA, PA, NC and GA over the past few years. The Cedars ranks in our top 5. You can't beat the friendliness of the staff, Bob and Grace. We have stayed in three of their rooms, and each one was relaxing and very comfortable (we hope to stay in all the rooms and win the "Sleep Around Contest." The breakfast dishes are absolutely delicious. Bob's humor is contagious; he has the ability to make even an old grouch (United States Navy Master Chief) smile. Another good thing about the Cedars is location, only about a 10 minute walk to the Colonial section of Williamsburg, and a short drive to the Williamsburg Winery (a must for wine drinkers).
