The Williamsburg, Virginia area is a buzz year round with activities. The Williamsburg Garden Club hosts shows and tours of Williamsburg gardens in the spring. Williamsburg host parades and grand festivals in the fall and winter. The spring, summer and fall are a buzz with activities at the local attractions like Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown, the College of William & Mary and more.

Storytellers will spin their magic for all ages, performing funny stories, traditional tales, and legends that will make you wonder. The local storytelling guild Weavers of the Word will kick off their program for adults in the WL Theatre at 2:00 p.m. Children and families will join featured teller Denise Bennette for yarns and music from around the world beginning at 2:30 p.m. in the Schell Room. And at 3:15 p.m., we'll all gather in the Theatre to hear Denise tell special stories for both children and grownups. Stick around for refreshments afterward. (We'll also be collecting donations of canned goods to benefit FISH.)

49th Annual Christmas Homes Tour

Tour the Colonial Williamsburg Stable and four private residences in the Historic Area not usually open to the public. The homes include the Coke-Garrett House, the John Crump House, Peter Hay’s Shop, and the Timson House. Each home and the Stable will be decorated with holiday floral arrangements. The Colonial Williamsburg Stable will display the two carriages which carried Queen Elizabeth while visiting Colonial Williamsburg for the 350th and 400th Anniversary of Jamestown in 1957 and 2007. Animals from Colonial Williamsburg Rare Breeds program will also be in the Stable for visitors to enjoy. Cost: Tickets $25 ($7 to tour a single house) which includes use of the shuttle bus from the Visitor Center and around the Historic Area. Parking is available at the Visitor Center.
